Here’s some long overdue talk about our appearance on Dutch national TV, BNN’S national sex and drugs IQ test.
We arrived early in the recording studio’s, around 09:00 (feels as night for me :). BNN wanted us to be present during the rehearsals of the program. The official recording with audience was to take place at 20:00. So we had to kill an entire day and participate in 4 rehearsals. This was kind of fun and boring from time to time. I wont bore _you_ with the details and skip to the interesting bits 🙂
When the recording of the show started in the evening I talked to the director about the time when we were supposed to do our thing. This was about 20 minutes after recording started, keeping in mind possible delays. The show was recorded, not live, to be aired 3 months later.
We did not get airtime to build the complete bondage, so we prepared a big part of it backstage and I took my time for it to create something really beautiful (imvho 🙂 ). I really took my time, 15 minutes, to build the takatekote and then we waited. Expecting to wait 5 minutes maybe a little more because of delays before we could do our thing. The wait became 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30… We ended up waiting for almost two(!) hours before we had to go on. By that time the takatekote was very busy doing what it is supposed to do, cause pain and discomfort and make the wearer (Chantal) very aware of being in bondage!
She was very brave and did not want to get out (she knew she only had to be back in again). After almost two hours we got our airtime and unfortunately had to rush things more than we wanted. This, unfortunately, significantly cut down on our air time. It turned out there was a big miscommunication between the director and me… well, live and learn!
